Invisalign can help you achieve a more beautiful smile without many of the drawbacks that come with traditional braces. Invisalign can straighten your teeth and contribute to improved oral health. However, much of Invisalign’s success is aligned with the skill level of your provider. With so many competing professionals to choose from, the options can be overwhelming.
Patients who are considering an Invisalign treatment course may have come across an Invisalign Preferred Provider status in their research. Becoming an Invisalign Preferred Provider means a dental office has achieved a minimum amount of experience with the Invisalign program. Generally, the more experience a provider has with Invisalign, the better the chances is for a smooth, hassle-free treatment course, and it is more likely that the patient will be completely satisfied with their improved smile.
Patients considering Invisalign understand that this is a big commitment, both in time and money. Therefore, choosing a provider is not a light decision. There are many dentists and orthodontists offering Invisalign as a treatment option, but it can be difficult to determine who will be the best provider for each patient. Invisalign designates these Preferred Providers so that patients can more easily find the most experienced providers in their area. Becoming a Preferred Provider means that the provider cares about continued education and training, and also has the experience to back up their diagnoses.
Invisalign designates three tiers of Preferred Providers:
- Preferred Providers, the lowest tier, treat at least 10 cases with Invisalign every year.
- Premier Preferred Providers treat at least 25 cases every 6 months, and have treated at least 50 cases total.
- Elite Preferred Providers have treated a minimum of 300 cases and treat 50 cases every 6 months.
Only a few providers in the Los Angeles area have become Elite Preferred Providers, and we are very proud that our own Dr. Atoosa Nikaeen is one of them. Dr. Nikaeen has earned this distinction through her sole West LA practice, not through multiple locations as some other offices have done. Because Dr. Nikaeen has so much experience, she is able to accurately diagnose problem areas that can be fixed with Invisalign, and help image the best possible treatment plan. Any unforeseen problems along the way will also be easier to treat with her knowledge.
If you are in the West LA area, including Santa Monica and Beverly Hills, and would like to learn more about Invisalign, please contact us to schedule a consultation with Dr. Nikaeen today. As an Elite Preferred Provider, Dr. Nikaeen, a Los Angeles orthodontist has extensive experience with Invisalign and will be able to accurately determine whether Invisalign is the right solution for you!
